Six research papers at Diabetes World Congress in Canada

Diabetes Care n’ Research Centre brings  Laurel  to Nagpur  city by   presenting  Six  research papers  at Diabetes World Congress in Canada

Sunil’s  Diabetes Care n’ Research Centre  Pvt.  Ltd.  have got an honour  to present six research papers in  prestigious   International  Diabetes Federation  World  Congress 2015 held at Vancouver, Canada from 30th Nov – 4th Dec 2015, informed Dr. Sunil Gupta , Director  DCRC.

The research was conducted on following clinical topics like: “Prevalence of female sexual dysfunction and associated risk factors amongst type 2 diabetics in India”,  “Barriers towards insulin therapy in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus”,  “Assessment of risk factors for early onset of type 2 DM in Indian women with history of gestational diabetes mellitus,  “Oral health assessment amongst Indian type 2 diabetics” , “Prevalence of periodontitis  amongst type 2 diabetics”.  These 5 paper were  selected for poster presentation & one paper on “Hospital based prevalence of Lipohypertrophy in type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus on insulin therapy” was for presented as E- Poster discussion.  Papers were presented by Dr. Sunil Gupta, Diabetologist & Mrs. Kavita Gupta, Dietician & Diabetes Educator and Dr. Mohit Zamad, Oral Maxillosacial Surgeon attended the meeting and presented their work. Other authors who contributed for the research work are   Mrs. Vinita  Mehta,  Shraddha Fulzade,Malvika Fulwani,Monika Kalindi, Shilpa  Joshi(Mumbai),  Dr. Papiya Bhattacharya, Gynecologist,Dr.Rajiv  Chawla (Delhi)  & Mr. D. Raje .

This is the largest meeting on diabetes globally, which is organized every 2 years and usually being attended by more than 25,000 medical professionals, nutritionist etc across the world .  Dr. Gupta gave the credit to his dedicated  team  of  DCRC for their hard, sincere & quality research work and data entry.
