SOCIAL COMMITMENTS

• Mega Hello Diabetes education program for People with Diabetes & their caretakers at multiple locations in central India taken 918 programs since 25 years.
• “Diabetes Care on Wheels”…Ambulance for rural screening of diabetes
• Every Saturday “Hello diabetes program” for IPD & OPD patients & caretakers at DCRC premises since 8 yrs.
• Screening of Teachers for diabetes along with diabetes education program “Educating the Educators”
• Adolescent Obesity Education Programs for High school students for adopting Healthy Dietary Practices.
• Free consultation to the needy Juvenile diabetics.
• Annual diabetes education residential two days camp for Juvenile diabetics since 20 years. Instrumental in initiating Juvenile Diabetic Parent Association of India, Nagpur.
• Free annual screening for Metabolic Syndrome in Women with past history of Gestational Diabetes (GDM Club).
• Adoption of unprivileged juvenile diabetic children (Type1) for annual Free Insulin therapy.
• Education program & free stationery for orphans of Mission India project at rural Nagpur.
• Screening & education of Rural Leprosy patients at Anandwan (Warora) & for people at Old age homes.
