Mrs. Kavita Gupta delivered talk on 24th Sept, 2017 at 6th Annual ADE Conference in Mumbai on “Barriers to effective management of Diabetes” She emphasized on Patient’s & Clinician’s related barriers to achieve goals of blood glucose, blood pressure & lipids in diabetes data says that only 20% of diabetics across have achieved all 3 targets and 80% still are uncontrolled. Diabetes Educator may play an important role in bridging the gap. It was a good academic feast due to guidance of Dr. H. B. Chandalia and Dr. Benny Neglur and untiring efforts of Dr. Priya Mendon.
