Noted diabetologist and director of Sunil’s Diabetes Care n’ Research Centre, Nagpur, Dr. Sunil Gupta has been awarded with the prestigious Fellowship of American College of Endocrinology (FACE) during recently held 28th Annual scientific and clinical congress of American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE-2019) at International Convention Centre, Los Angeles, California, USA on 27th April 2019. He is also the recipient of other international fellowships like FRCP (Glasgow), FRCP (Edinburgh), FACP (USA) and Six national fellowships. Dr. Sunil Gupta has been bestowed with this honor towards his academic and social contribution in the field. He has 180 publications to his credit. He presented 65 research papers in international and national conferences. He is known for empowering people with diabetes through social awareness programs since last 25 years. At AACE 2019 meeting, LA, Dr. Gupta and his team of DCRC have also presented two original research papers on “How does Malnutrition Related Ketosis-Resistant Diabetes Mellitus differ with post alcoholic chronic pancreatitic diabetes mellitus in India.” And “Does the dietary macronutrient intake defer in people with type 2 diabetes compared to those without diabetes, a cross sectional observational study from India.”
