Dr Gupta emphasized that all of us should follow DIPSI ( Diabetes In Pregnancy Study Group in India) criteria for diagnosing GDM in Indian pregnant women. Early diagnosis with proper treatment is mandatory to avoid maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality.
